Privacy
JawTech is run by one person in Canada. Here is everything the site does with your information.
Accounts
If you create an account, the site stores your name, email address and a hashed password (or, if you sign in with Google, the identifier Google gives us and your name and email from your Google profile). This is used to sign you in and to record which files you downloaded. Nothing is sold or shared. You can have the account deleted by emailing jawtech123@gmail.com from that address.
Downloads
Each download is logged with your account id and the time, so that I can see which projects people use and tell you about updates if you have asked for that.
Quote requests
The Jawtech Deploy form stores what you type and emails it to me. It is used only to answer you.
Cookies and analytics
One session cookie keeps you signed in. A local-storage flag remembers your light/dark theme. There are no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers and no social media pixels on jawtech.com.
The server keeps its own visitor log: the page requested, the time, your IP address, the country it maps to (looked up in a database on the server, never sent anywhere), your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. It is used to see which pages people read and to tell real visitors from crawlers. Log entries are deleted after 90 days and are never shared.
Mobile apps
Spellpatch (Android) has its own policy, because the free edition shows ads: Spellpatch privacy policy.
Hosting
The site runs on a server in Canada. Backups are kept privately. If you have a question about any of this, email the address above.
